Waterproof HID and LED Spot Lights?

I want to set up my rig for a trip around Australia sometimes soon (early next year). I was reading a lot of trail reports and there will be some areas on our track that will contain water crossings. I had already a read on water-proof winches but now I am looking for waterproof spot lights as well. Any suggestions? It has to be waterproof because we do long desert runs at night (will get too hot during the day) and need 100% reliable driving lights.

Hmm. If you have a roof rack (and most tourers will) get a led light bar.
eBay has tons atm for just over $200 for 40" light bars. The vast majority are ip67 rated which means vewry good dust and water sealing. That's what will be my next investment

^ yep... any light bar, HID or LED light with an IP of at least IP67 and up will be suitable to stop dust/water ingress... Just depends on how much you want to spend, as to whether you go eBay/mid or high range like Lightforce/ARB etc...
