Everyone started somewhere. Answer the question that was asked, skip the “just search for it”, and disagree about the idea, not the person. Brand wars are fine around the campfire; keep them friendly here too.
02Posting
Pick the category that fits and write a title that says what you’re after (“Hilux N80: bullbar and airbag compatibility?” beats “Help!!”). Say which rig you drive, year and model, and what you’ve already tried: it gets you better answers, faster.
Found your answer? Mark the reply that helped. It points the next person to it, and the member who helped gets Gears.
03Photos & links
Post your own photos, or ones you have permission to use, and say where a photo, quote or story comes from. Link to the source rather than copying a whole article.
No photos of other people’s number plates or faces without asking, and nothing gross, gory or not safe for work.
04Buying & selling
The forum isn’t a marketplace: no ads, affiliate links or “DM me for prices” in threads. Pointing someone to a part you’ve used and liked is fine. Businesses can show their parts with a seller account.
05Moderation
Moderators keep the forum on track. They can move topics and remove posts or whole topics, and accounts that keep breaking the rules or the terms get locked. Gears earned with removed posts are taken back.
06Appeals
Think a moderator got it wrong? Don’t argue it out in the thread: write to us through the contact form with a link to the post, and an admin who wasn’t involved has a look.
